Serendipity helps you turn saved ideas into real experiences while respecting your privacy. This policy explains how information is handled when you use the app.
Information you add
You may add lists, ideas, intentions, notes, places, categories, completion history, and other content to Serendipity. This information is used to provide the app’s features.
Data collection
Serendipity does not sell your personal information. The app is designed to minimize collection of personal data and use on-device processing and Apple-provided services where possible.
Location
If you choose to grant location access, Serendipity may use your location to organize saved places and suggest relevant experiences or connections. Location access is optional and can be changed at any time in iOS Settings.
Photos, reminders, and Apple services
Some features may request access to Apple services such as Photos, Reminders, Notifications, or other system capabilities. Access is requested only when needed for a feature you choose to use, and permissions can be changed in iOS Settings.
iCloud and device storage
Your app information is stored on your device and may synchronize through iCloud and CloudKit when you are signed in to iCloud. That synchronized information is stored in your private iCloud database. Apple’s handling of this information is governed by Apple’s privacy policies and your Apple Account settings.
Subscriptions and purchases
In-app purchases are processed by Apple. Serendipity does not receive your full payment-card information. Apple may provide purchase status and transaction information needed to unlock paid features.
Diagnostics
Apple may provide aggregated or diagnostic information if you have chosen to share analytics with app developers through your device settings. This information may be used to improve reliability and performance.
Children’s privacy
Serendipity is not intended to knowingly collect personal information from children in violation of applicable law.
Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated as the app changes. The latest version will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.
